The Read Before

It reads your script through the same producer, creative, studio, and greenlight decisions the industry makes.

A private demo. Your material is read in memory and never stored.

Before you start

Here's what's ahead

A room of industry readers — producer, creative attachments, studio, and a final greenlight — reads your pages in turn and hands back one coverage report: where the script stands, and the fixes, ranked.

  1. Start a project and bring your pages — paste a treatment or upload the script (.fdx, .pdf, .docx, .fountain).
  2. Read the headline takeaways first, then the producer's note on what to do next.
  3. Move through the phases one at a time. Later phases read best once the earlier ones clear; the last two need a full screenplay (90+ pages).

Material

Upload a screenplay or treatment, paste material, or add notes.

Material type

Part of the read — we'll tell you whether your pages support that budget, and what shifts if they don't.

Uploaded files are read for this analysis only — never stored.

Add a logline, comps, or genre optional — sharpens the read

We check each against your pages and tell you where intent and execution diverge.
